Cheetah Nails!
To be honest, I only painted four of my fingernails with the geometric Easter design :p I was kind of lazy to do my other hand and I didn't know how to do my thumb since the picture only showed four fingers...HAHA! So...I didn't like only having nail polish on just four of my fingers so I decided to do a totally different look. I used OPI's Do You Lilac It, and for the ring finger I used SEPHORA by OPI Frankly, I Don't Give A-dam (from The Garden of Good and Evil collection). For the cheetah design, I first did the black glitter part with one of those skinny brush polishes, and then I filled the "holes" with SEPHORA by OPI's Sugar Plum Fairies Gone Wild. I then added a few rhinestones randomly where it looked bare. Simple, yet fun. Hehe, I kind of really love it!
Salon Glitter Pedi and Calgel Mani!
From my earlier posts, it's quite obvious that I'm in love with Salon Glitter. Well, guess what?! My cousin visited my favorite salon yet and came out with sparkly fingernails and cute tosies!!! Isn't it adorable? Her calgel manicure has glittered tips with rhinestone detailing, and a cute little bow on the ring finger. Her toes are painted a nice royal blue with pastel flower detailing, perfect for spring! :)

Want to Learn How to Make Your Own Nail Polish?
A few months ago, I did a project where I learned how to make my own nail polish and then went to a Senior Citizen group in Manoa and treated the women to complimentary manicures! It was so much fun making the polishes, painting nails, and creating designs, making each woman feel special and beautiful. Maddie helped me paint their nails and it was priceless seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing their stories, and I hope I can do again in the future. Through the process, I learned how simple it is to create your own nail polish colors.
1. Buy clear nail polish
2. Buy loose eye shadow pigments
3. Mix the eye shadow and clear nail polish and you get your own original colors!
Here are some pictures of some of the process. Please let us know if you have any questions. If you decide to make your own colors, send us your pics to maimaddiepedi@gmail.com so we can show of your polishes!

China Glaze Tinsel Town & OPI Gone Gonzo!
Well I'll have to admit that I'm in love with this color combo. I did two layers of China Glaze's Tinsel Town. That color is so easy to apply...it really just needs one coat but it was so fun to paint :P I then layered it with a coat of Opi's Gone Gonzo!. SO sparkly, I love it!
My Glitter Gradient Attempt
Hi guys! What happens when volleyball practice is canceled and I don't have a lot of homework? Nail time...that's what happens! Anyway, sorry for the sloppiness but here is my attempt at glitter gradient nails. Most of the supplies I used were from Neo Plaza in Waikiki (amazing store!) except for the blue glitter (majority of the glitter haha). Don't mind me but I didn't have blue powdery glitter so I had to use acrylic glitter :/ The texture was super un-smooth and it'll happen never again. Anyway this honestly took only about 20 minutes because I was rushing so I could do my toenails. I promise I'll get better and use the right kinds of glitters next time. Yay! Happy almost Easter <3
